Interested in learning more about farming in your own backyard? Well, the Campbell County Conservation District has just the event for you.
The Campbell County Backroads Farm Tour lets participants learn more about the county’s agricultural operations. During the self-guided driving tour, guests will be able to “explore vineyards, equestrian centers, beef cattle operations, and horticultural operations,” according to a release from the Campbell County Conservation District.
Through this event, the conservation district hopes to show the importance of “preserving the county’s prime farmland.”
Produce, wine, crafts, and other farm products will be for sale throughout the tour; the district suggests bringing cash and a cooler.
