The students of the Ignite Institute and Stephens Elementary recently transformed the school into a winter wonderland and Elf Institute.
The Ignite students were paired with first graders from Stephens Elementary to join in on a project to collect and wrap gifts for children in need.
Ignite, in Erlanger, is the first STEAM-based high school in Kentucky.
In a newsletter on the event, Boone County Schools said the event offered students the opportunity to earn “their official Elf ears.”
Also at Stephens Elementary, students recently brought their parents to school to see how their children decorated the classrooms to represent a different holiday tradition from around the world.
