Kenton County Animal Services is waiving adoption fees through Sept. 30.

The promotion is part of the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters Event, which aims to connect homeless animals with reliable owners across the country. Kenton County is the only shelter in Northern Kentucky participating in the event.

Interested adopters can come down to the Kenton County Animal Shelter from Tuesday to Friday between noon and 6 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to adopt. The shelter is located at 1020 Mary Laidley Rd. in Covington. The event will take place from Sept. 18 to Sept. 30.

You can see the pets currently up for adoption at the shelter’s online catalog page here.
