Myers said he is a committed Christian who puts faith first, driven by integrity and empathy.

For 17 years, Myers said he has written reports and covered thousands of crime scenes. He served as Public Information Officer for the Pike County, Ohio, Sheriff’s Office, managed a balanced seven-figure budget for eight years, and spent six years in the funeral industry, where he said he supported grieving families and cared for the deceased with respect.

He has also contracted with the Campbell County Coroner’s office, and said he knows the challenges the county faces.

Myers said the coroner’s office needs modernization and up-to-date equipment, technology and training to match neighboring counties. Including ID tags for bodies, iPads for reporting, evidence logging and crime scene photos. He said he will also pledge full transparency, fiscal responsibility and zero tolerance for mismanagement.

“This campaign is about restoring trust: dignity for the deceased, comfort for families, accountability for our office,” Myers said. “I’m ready to serve full-time, not on-call or part-time. This is a partisan race, but politics does not belong in law enforcement. I will put politics aside to keep our community safe, prevent tragedies, and honor every life.”
