Leslie Vickers, a longtime Boone County resident, recently assumed the role of vice president of the enterprise division of The Point Arc, according to a press release from the organization.
The Point Arc is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Notably, the Point Arc offers vocational training for its clients, who then staff the organization’s five enterprises around the region–Point Perk Coffee Shop, Point Apparel Company, The Point Commercial Cleaning Company and The Point Commercial Laundry.
“I want to increase awareness in all of our enterprises,” Vickers said in the press release, “as well as have all our individuals who work here excel.”
Vickers worked as a manager for a branch of US Bank before taking on the role of vice president. She’s also worked in the sales department for Fischer Homes and as an executive director in a moving and storage company.
