Northern Kentucky homebuilder Fischer Homes promoted Director of Marketing Steve Whaley to senior vice president of corporate strategy.

Whaley’s responsibilities in his new role include continuing to manage his current marketing team and becoming more involved in key initiatives throughout the company such as product and geographic diversification.

Whaley is an 11-year veteran of Fischer Homes. Before that, Whaley worked in the consumer-packaged goods industry with stops at Procter & Gamble and Perfetti Van Melle.

“During his 11-year tenure, Steve’s contributions to the business have been extraordinary,” Fischer Homes CEO Tim McMahon said.

In a press release, Whaley said he plans to focus on people development, data-based decision-making, and additional avenues for revenue growth.

“In my time at Fischer Homes, the company has seen exponential growth,” Whaley said. “We have entered many new markets, enhanced our portfolio of homes, digitized our marketing and many of the tools we have available for customers. Through our strategic marketing efforts, we carefully analyze every land deal and make data-based decisions across the business.”
