I recently met with Ken Bowman from Bowman’s Framing to discuss the custom design services he offers. In addition to the wide array of framing projects, it was so nice to learn that Ken provides in-home consultations. He will visit your space and help you identify the correct scale and style for artwork and even mirrors.
While I consider myself a home decor enthusiast, I hadn’t even thought about the fact that a custom framer could help you design the perfect mirror for your space. I currently despise the plain stock mirror that came in our master bathroom. Looks like this would be the perfect project for Bowman’s Framing!
In addition to home design, you can also utilize custom framing to create a one of kind gift. I love the thought of framing a sports uniform as a graduation gift or a baptism gown as nursery decor.
You could even go as far as to frame your wedding dress (I’ve seen this on Pinterest and it is incredible. See it here.) Love the idea of preserving your wedding, but not spending the cash on a huge dress-sized frame? Consider framing your wedding invitation or program as a classy keepsake. My husband and I received a long narrow frame that featured the six pages of our program as a wedding gift. Since our program was one of my favorite pieces from the big day, it made the perfect present.
I also fell in love with the custom home portrait that Ken offers. They would make such a thoughtful gift! With this gift, you can guarantee that no one else will come close to giving the same thing.
Lastly, if you’re looking to add artwork to your residential or commercial property, you might like to know that you can shop designs created by local and national artist right from Bowman’s Gallery.
Local artists include:
- Beverly Erschell
- Sara HamelÂ
- Ted Borman
- Robert Fabe
Next time you’re considering heading to Hobby Lobby or Michael’s for your next framing project, consider keeping it local and shopping at Bowman’s Framing. We can all feel good about keeping the business in the community!
