Fort Thomas Schools Celebrate Completion of Highlands Fieldhouse

Fort Thomas Independent Schools is excited to celebrate the completion of the Highlands Fieldhouse with an Open House on Sunday, April 12, 2015, from 1-3 PM.
This new facility is part of Phase IV of the Highlands’ renovation project and has transformed the area once known as “death valley” into a multi-sport practice and training center for student-athletes.
The 12,000 sq. ft. Fieldhouse building provides indoor practice areas specifically designed for athletic training. Features include:
– A 30 yd. indoor multi-purpose turf area
– A 2600 sq. ft. loft with weight training equipment
– A dance studio
– Batting cages
– Storage for athletic equipment
– A maintenance office/workshop
In addition to the new indoor spaces, the Fieldhouse complex also encompasses a 70 yd., irrigated outdoor practice field and adds more than 60 parking spaces to the Highlands’ campus.
