A man suffered what police call “significant injuries” in a motorcycle crash on Monday morning.
James Mardis, 40, of Ryland Heights, was driving a 1996 Suzuki DR350 on the westbound side of the 8900 block of Porter Road when the bike exited the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Kenton County Police said that the cause of the accident is unknown, and that Mardis was the only driver involved.
He was air-lifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Police are still investigating.
