St. Henry 43, Bishop Brossart 40
The Crusaders (1-2) got their first win of the season in a wild night in Alexandria.
Lucas Pate’s 22-yard touchdown run with 3:22 remaining proved to be the game-winning score as St. Henry forced a Mustangs (1-2) fumble late to seal it.
Brossart led throughout with leads of 6-0 after one, 19-14 at the half and 33-28 after three. The Mustangs held a 40-28 advantage nearly midway through the fourth before Cy Parento’s 31-yard touchdown pass to Pate, one of his three touchdowns on the night.

Highlands 55, Campbell County 14
The Bluebirds led 42-0 at halftime in a runaway victory in Claryville.
Highlands (2-1) quarterback Bryce Armstrong threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. Armstrong was one of three Bluebirds quarterbacks to throw for touchdowns, Cale Harris completing all five of his passes for 82 yards and a TD strike, Jaxston Moeves adding 55 yards and a score.
Quinton Simon had two receiving touchdowns totaling 80 yards, Ben Kuhnhein, Chase Jacob and John Feldbruegge bagging touchdowns.
The Camels (2-1) couldn’t provide much resistance, tallying just 177 yards. Cameron Phelps threw two touchdown passes in their scoring ledger, the touchdown throws to Aiden Seibert and Cade Anthrop.
Covington Catholic 42, Simon Kenton 7
Covington Catholic (2-1) forced a running clock by halftime in a blowout victory in Park Hills.
Kiyan Miller rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns, the last one to make it 42-0 with 5:51 left in the third. Dylan Courtney completed 7-of-10 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns, Miller and Jason Fedor on the receiving end of them.
Simon Kenton (2-1) won the turnover battle 3-2, but were unable to capitalize offensively with 152 total yards.
Holy Cross 21, Clermont Northeastern (OH) 8
The Indians are off to a 3-0 start for the second straight season after a win Friday night at Thomas More.
Charles Oglesby and Dustin Wilson ran for touchdowns while Brian Ferguson threw a touchdown pass to Max Hunt. The Rockets scored early in the fourth to avoid the shutout. The Holy Cross defense has allowed 21 points in three games.
