Boone County Public Library - Florence Branch

Florence, KY – Boone County Public Library (BCPL) is inviting the community to play an important role in envisioning the future of its Florence Branch.

Residents are encouraged to attend an upcoming community engagement meeting, where they can share ideas, identify needs, and help imagine what’s next for the branch. The event will take place on Monday, April 27 at the Florence Branch, located at 7425 U.S. 42 in Florence, and will be offered in two sessions to accommodate different schedules:
Morning Session: 9:30 – 11 a.m.
Evening Session: 4:30 – 6 p.m.

During each session, representatives from Omni Architects will present images and design concepts to help spark discussion and inspire ideas. Community feedback gathered during these sessions will help guide the vision and planning for the new Florence Branch.

“This is an opportunity for the public to directly influence the future of their library,” said Carrie Herrmann, Executive Director. “We want to ensure the Florence Branch reflects the needs, interests and aspirations of the community it serves.”

Participants are encouraged to share what would make the library more useful, welcoming, and engaging for individuals and families alike.
