Three girls and one boy from Northern Kentucky will represent the Commonwealth in the Kentucky-Indiana junior All-Star game to be played on May 31 at Charlestown High School in Indiana.
Cooper’s Haylee Noel, Simon Kenton’s Brynli Pernell, Notre Dame’s Sarah Young and Covington Catholic’s Braeden Myrick were selected for the game, with juniors from across the state selected by the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches to participate in the All-Star series. The senior rosters were rolled out on April 9.
They’ll also play the Kentucky seniors on a date that hasn’t been announced yet to prep the senior team for the Kentucky-Indiana Senior All-Star series on June 5 and 6. The senior game is played June 5 in Lexington at Lexington Catholic High School. The June 6 game is in Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, home of the Indiana Pacers.
