Photos: 2025 Boone County Senior Picnic

The 38th annual Boone County Senior Picnic took place last Wednesday. The annual celebration drew over 700 residents, according to Boone County, with appearances by elected representatives and county employees.

Festivities included food, giveaways from more than 40 vendors and recognition of the Senior Picnic King and Queen, longest-married couple and newlywed couples. There was also a recognition of local veterans.

Next year’s picnic will take place on Sept. 9, 2026. Tickets will go on sale early next August. Check out some photos of the event provided by the county below.
