So much rain is expected this weekend that the Ohio River is likely to be at moderate flood stage by Sunday, according to WCPO meteorologist Jennifer Ketchmark. That’s something that has only happened once in the last 28 years.
We won’t see any relief from the rain this weekend: A flood watch is in place until Sunday evening at 8 p.m.
Expect light showers with a chance of a thunderstorm Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain is likely much of the rest of the weekend, with flooding possible throughout the region. Showers and possible thunderstorms are expected to continue Saturday and into Sunday.

“Because creeks, streams, and rivers are already high, flash flooding of greatest concern” Saturday, Meteorologist Jennifer Ketchmark reported Frida.
