The Carnegie, a Covington-based performing arts center, will provide theater and public speaking workshops for Twenhofel Middle School students in January.

The Kenton County Public Schools Board of Education approved a $1,440 contract with The Carnegie as part of their consent agenda on Monday. The money will come from the district’s chorus program budget, and the workshops will take place from Jan. 6, 2025, to Jan. 22, 2025, during the normal course of the school day.
Specifically, The Carnegie will provide three, 10-session theater workshops for grades 6 and 7, and one, six-session public speaking workshop for grade 8.
