AJ Jolly Park now offers a self-service kayak rental kiosk near the AJ Jolly Lake dam, which allows patrons easy access to the lake’s back portion.

The kayaks can be rented with a credit card for a two-hour minimum. There are eight available kayaks for rent. When the patron is finished, swipe the card used for the rental, return the kayak to its assigned station and place the vest and paddle back in the designated locker.

AJ Jolly Park also introduced storage units for personally owned kayaks that can be rented per season for $140 (April through October). If a unit opens later in the season, a tenant can rent for the remainder of the season at $25 per month. Prices are per slot for up to two kayaks. No other personal property may be stored in the slot.

Tenants will be given a sticker to place on their kayaks. The sticker must be visible on the kayaks while stored on the premises. No refunds will be given if the tenant removes the kayak before the end of their paid rental period.

Reservations of a unit must be completed in person at the AJ Jolly Park Ranger Station.
