At a short meeting of city council, Southgate City Attorney Mary Ann Stewart took the opportunity to introduce her new associate and member of her law firm, attorney Shelbi Schultz.

Schultz graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Law in May 2023 and passed the bar this summer. She recently joined Stewart’s firm, Covington-based Adams Law PLLC.

She will be assisting with Stewart’s work representing Southgate and other clients.

Stewart is a managing partner of the firm and co-manager of the local government practice group and school law group. In addition to Southgate, she is the city attorney for Crestview Hills and Villa Hills and represents several area school districts, the Campbell County Cable Board, Campbell County Consolidated Dispatch Board, Northern Kentucky Independent District Board of Health, the Kenton County Public Library, and other Northern Kentucky clients.

Adams Law works in a wide variety of practice areas, including business and government, school law, family law and others.
