The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced an overnight lane closure on the Licking River overpass near Wilder (exit 77) in Kenton/Campbell County for drain cleaning tonight, Oct. 26.
Work will be performed between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Crews will require a single right lane closure on the Licking River overpass (77.7 to 77.5 mile point). The closure will start on I-275 eastbound and then be shifted to I-275 westbound until the work is complete. The work will consist of clearing the drains on the bridge to improve safety for motorists.
While work is being performed during the evening/overnight hours to mitigate travel disruptions, motorists should expect delays if traveling through the project area. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes as work is ongoing with the project.
