KY 338, Richwood Road, at the intersection of I-71/I-75, will undergo a series of closures from July 11 to July 17 to allow for the final construction measures of the roads’ new double crossover diamond interchange. Different closures limiting traffic will take place over the roughly five-day period, with most of the interchange reopening by Monday, July 17.

The closures will occur on the following days and times, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, weather permitting:

  • Tuesday, July 11, at 8 p.m. to Wednesday, July 12, at 10 p.m.–Interior portion of the interchange will be closed to all traffic. (No through traffic on KY 338). All on/off ramps will remain open with limited access.
  • Wednesday, July 12, from 10 p.m. to Thursday, July 13, at 5 a.m.–Interior portion of the interchange will be closed to all traffic. (No through traffic on KY 338). On-ramp to I-71/75 northbound from Richwood Road will be closed. On/off-ramps to I-71/75 southbound and off-ramp to I-71 northbound will remain open with limited access.
  • Thursday, July 13, at 5 a.m. to Monday, July 17, at 5 a.m.–Interior portion of the interchange will be closed to all traffic. (No through traffic on KY 338). All on/off ramps will remain open with limited access.
