The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has warned Boone County residents that KY 1017, Turfway Road, will undergo multiple temporary closures so that utility infrastructure can be repaired on April 3.
The work will occur just east of ramps onto I-75 from 11 p.m., April 3 to 2 a.m., April 4. There will be multiple locations where the 10 minute lane closures will occur.
The locations for the lane closures are as follows:
- KY 1017 (Turfway Road) exit ramp off I-75 northbound. This ramp will be closed to KY 1017 eastbound.
- KY 1017 eastbound traffic just east of the overpass. Traffic from KY 1017 to I-75 northbound will not be affected.
- KY 1017 westbound traffic just west of the intersection of KY 18 (Burlington Pike) and Curtis Avenue.
The cabinet advises drivers traveling during this time to find alternate routes to their destinations.
