A road project begins on Memorial Parkway in parts of Newport and Fort Thomas on Wednesday.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet – District 6 Office announced that the work will involve drainage, pavement, and resurfacing from Stardust Point Lane to Inverness Place.
Work crews will be on site during daytime hours.
A drainage pipe will be added at the 2.4-mile marker, along with curb work, a relocation of a bus stop, and construction of a new sidewalk ramp.
Milling and resurfacing of the project area will take place after drainage work complete, KYTC said.Â
Drivers should watch for lane closures, crews, and equipment. Â
The estimated completion is November 15.
