Volunteers showed up on Saturday to help plant around seventy-five trees.
The project was led by the City of Covington’s urban forestry board.
Trees were planted on Lincoln Avenue from Daniels Street to Decoursey Avenue, and up to a block along intersecting streets.
The types of trees included black gum, paperback maple, yellowwood, Allegheny serviceberry, and Kwanzan cherry.
RCN’s Brian Frey produced these photos.
