The Tuesday morning commute has been snarled by multiple accidents slowing or closing parts of the interstate on both sides of the Ohio River.
I-71 southbound in the Lytle Tunnel was shut down after an accident involving a truck. That has traffic moving slowly from Newport to downtown Cincinnati across the Taylor-Southgate Bridge as drivers seek an alternate route.
I-75 northbound was also backed up after a semi-truck appeared to break.
