A semi-truck and two charter buses crashed early Thursday morning, closing Interstate 71 between Verona and Walton near I-75, according to media reports.
WKRC’s Perry Schaible tweeted that eight bus passengers complained of minor injuries. Some walked off the bus while others were taken by stretcher.

The ambulances have reportedly left the scene.
Police are urging drivers to use westbound Kentucky 14 to eastbound U.S. 42 to eastbound Kentucky 338 as a detour.
The accident scene was cleared at 7 a.m.
