An extra performances of the world premiere of Soldier’s Christmas will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday at Northern Kentucky University’s Corbett Theatre.
The play, by Fort Thomas playwright Phil Paradis, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1914 Christmas Truce, in which British and German troops stopped fighting along the Western Front, and celebrated the holiday, together.
Newly announced, Paradis’ full-length “The Red badge of Stephen Crane” has been selected as a semi-finalist in year’s 2014 Kentucky Theater Association’s Roots of the Bluegrass New Play Series.
