Missing Florence man found safe
Hours after the Boone County Sheriff’s Office sent out an alert in an effort to track him down, the Florence Police Department located Geohegan on Wednesday evening in good health on Dixie Highway, according to the sheriff’s office. His family was notified and he returned home.

Florence man reported missing
A press release from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office said Matthew Geohegan, 26, of Florence, has been reported missing. He left home on the 19th and said he would be back the following day, but he did not come home. He is without his prescribed medication and does not have a cell phone.
