Ryle’s Quinn Eubank and Sarah Baker have made a pretty prestigious list, nominated for the McDonald’s All-American game that takes place in April in Houston.

Eubank and Baker were among six girls in Kentucky nominated for the game that selects 48 players, boys and girls to play in the game. The two were among 724 players nominated nationwide.

Eubank is off to a sizzling start in her senior season with the Raiders. She leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 17.4 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. She’s hitting 47% from the field, 38% from the 3-point line and knocking down 78% of her free throw attempts. Eubank has signed with Belmont University to continue her athletic and academic career.

Baker recently scored her 1,000th career point in a Dec. 14 contest against Mount Notre Dame (Ohio). She’s averaging 13.7 points and 5.1 rebounds for the Raiders this season while shooting 46% from the field and 78% from the 3-point line. Baker has signed to continue her athletic and academic career with Youngstown State University.

Players were nominated by a high school coach, athletic director, principal or
member of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee based upon a certain criteria.

The McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee – comprised of some of the nation’s most knowledgeable high school analysts, prep scouts, media, and basketball coaches – will soon narrow down the list of nominees to the final 48 players named to the Games’ final rosters. The top 24 girls and 24 boys will be revealed Tuesday, Jan. 24 on NBA Today between 3-4 p.m. on ESPN and announced across ESPN’s various social and digital platforms.

The McDonald’s All American Games have benefitted Ronald McDonald House Charities® and its network of local Chapters since their inception. The other four nominated in Kentucky were Sacred Heart’s Reagan Bender and Angelina Pelayo and Boyd County’s Audrey Biggs and Jasmine Jordan.

Lyon County’s Travis Perry and Wesley Christian’s Patrick Pettengill were the Kentucky boys nominees.

Last season Ryle’s Abby Holtman and Austin Johnson were among the nominees for the 2023 game.
