While they found out their postseason sites and opponents, the goal remains to get to two locations for the Thomas More men and women’s basketball teams.
The men received an at-large bid and No. 5 seed to the NAIA National Tournament, the women receiving a No. 1 seed and will be hosting their first two games. The men will hope to advance to Kansas City, Missouri for the round of 16 and beyond while the women are hopeful for a trip to Sioux City, Iowa for the round of 16 and beyond.
THOMAS MORE MEN

The Saints, ranked No. 24 in the latest NAIA coaches poll, will play in Butte, Montana for their first two rounds. They open up with No. 12 seed Eastern Oregon on Tuesday, March 7 with the time to be determined.
If Thomas More advances, they’d then take on the winner of Montana Tech and Westmont on Wednesday, March 8. The No. 1 seed in the bracket is William Penn.
The ultimate goal is to get to Kansas City, Missouri for the Sweet 16 and playing for a national championship on March 18.
Thomas More finished in third place in the Mid-South Conference this season and own a 22-8 record. Last season the Saints made the Final Four before losing to Talladega.
THOMAS MORE WOMEN

Despite a loss in the Mid-South Conference tournament quarterfinals, the women were locked into a No. 1 seed for the NAIA National Tournament. Ranked No. 3 in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll, Thomas More will be a host site for the first two rounds.
The Saints (26-3) face Point (Ga.) on Tuesday, March 7 at 5:30 pm in Crestview Hills at the Connor Convocation Center. If Thomas More wins that one, they’ll then play on Wednesday, March 8 against the Concordia-Columbia winner.
Thomas More hopes to have the same path as last year’s postseason when they lost in the first round of the conference tournament before winning the next six games and a national championship. The Saints finished second in the Mid-South, Campbellsville also earning a No. 1 seed in the tournament.
The Saints are looking for their second straight national title in their fourth year of being in NAIA, also finishing runner-up in 2021.
