BUST-A-CRUST THANKSGIVING PIES ON SALE, BENEFITTING MEALS ON WHEELS SERVICES
CINCINNATI—Sales are open for Meals on Wheels’ seventh annual Bust-a-Crust Thanksgiving pie fundraiser, presented by Sara Lee Frozen Bakery. Seasonal flavors to choose from this year include apple, pecan and pumpkin. Proceeds from all pie sales directly benefit Meals on Wheels of Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky and the essential services provided to thousands of older adults.
You can place your orders now with pick-up taking place in Cincinnati right before Thanksgiving. Group orders of 12 pies or more enjoy a 20-percent discount and free delivery within the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. Over 6,000 pies will be assembled during a volunteer event the weekend before Thanksgiving at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church.
WHO:
Fundraiser is managed by Meals on Wheels of Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky, and it is presented by Sara Lee Frozen Bakery. All proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels’ services provided to nearly 11,000 older adults in 13 counties.
WHAT:
2026 Bust-a-Crust Thanksgiving pie sale. Choose from three frozen pie flavors: apple, pecan and pumpkin. Pies are 10 inches and require no baking. Each pie costs $15. Place a pie order or “pie” it forward by making a donation.

WHY:
The Bust-a-Crust Thanksgiving pie sale is an annual event that kicks off a season of giving. With opportunities to sponsor, volunteer, purchase pies or make a donation, Meals on Wheels’ Bust-a-Crust fundraiser invites the community to share a Thanksgiving tradition while giving back in support of local seniors. Meals on Wheels’ services include meals, transportation, social and protective services, pet support, social connection programs and management of the OTR Senior Center.
