The City of Florence announces that Cookies & Conversations with the Mayor and Popsicles with Police, both scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2026, have been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. The city apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the community’s understanding.
Residents are encouraged to join us for the next Popsicles with Police on Thursday, July 16, at South Fork Park. This free community event provides an opportunity to meet members of the Florence Police Department, ask questions, build relationships with local officers, and enjoy a complimentary popsicle in a fun, family friendly setting.
The city also invites residents to save the date for the next Cider & Chat with the Mayor on Thursday, October 8, 2026. This free event offers an opportunity to connect with Mayor Aubuchon and city department leadership, ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about city services, projects, and upcoming initiatives in an informal, welcoming environment.
