CINCINNATI, OHIO – July 6, 2026 – LaRosa’s is partnering with Hoxworth Blood Center to host a series of mobile blood drives throughout July and August at its pizzerias in Greater Cincinnati, to help save lives locally. Hoxworth is experiencing an extremely low inventory of O Negative and O Positive blood supply due to high hospital usage locally.
“We’re deeply committed to the communities we serve and have tremendous respect for Hoxworth’s lifesaving work,” said Mike LaRosa, CEO of LaRosa’s, Inc. “Their mobile blood drives not only make donating more convenient but also raise critical awareness about the ongoing need for a safe, reliable blood supply. We couldn’t think of a more meaningful way to support their mission than by sharing our pizzeria parking lots to help bring these drives directly into our neighborhoods.”

Anyone interested in donating blood should schedule an appointment in advance at one of the location links included here. Blood donors at the mobile blood drive events at LaRosa’s pizzerias throughout July and August will receive a coupon for a small two topping LaRosa’s pizza, a Cincinnati Favorites mini-tote bag and a promotional item from Hoxworth, as part of the Cincinnati Favorites Blood Drive Tour.
