LaRosa’s is partnering with Hoxworth Blood Center to host a series of mobile blood drives at its pizzerias throughout the region through July and August.
Hoxworth is experiencing an extremely low inventory of O Negative and O Positive blood supply due to high hospital usage locally.
“We’re deeply committed to the communities we serve and have tremendous respect for Hoxworth’s lifesaving work,” said Mike LaRosa, CEO of LaRosa’s, Inc. “Their mobile blood drives not only make donating more convenient but also raise critical awareness about the ongoing need for a safe, reliable blood supply. We couldn’t think of a more meaningful way to support their mission than by sharing our pizzeria parking lots to help bring these drives directly into our neighborhoods.”
