Covington Classical Academy Participates in NKY Pride Festival & Parade

COVINGTON, KY — Covington Classical Academy students and faculty recently participated in the Northern Kentucky Pride Festival & Parade, where the school hosted a community outreach booth and connected with families from across the region.
The event provided an opportunity for members of the CCA community to engage with local residents, share information about the school, and demonstrate the values of community, respect, and lifelong learning that guide the Academy’s mission.
During the festival, students and faculty spoke with prospective families, distributed information about the school, and shared their experiences as members of the CCA community. Families stopped by the CCA booth to learn more about the school’s individualized approach to education and its commitment to providing a supportive learning environment for all students.
English teacher Sheila Gray reflected on the importance of the event.
“I love participating in this event every year with our students and parents. The look of relief on the face of parents when they discover that there’s a place where their student can learn and thrive without judgement or censure – it’s wonderful. Plus the parade and festival are just a lot of fun. What a celebration!”
CCA is committed to fostering an environment where students are challenged academically, supported personally, and encouraged to think critically about the world around them. Through participation in community events, service opportunities, and academic experiences, the Academy seeks to prepare students to become thoughtful citizens and lifelong learners.
