Commonwealth Comedy Club Presents THE DOSE: An Immersive Psychedelic Comedy Experience on April 25
DAYTON, KY (April 2026) — Commonwealth Comedy Club invites audiences to step beyond the ordinary with THE DOSE, a one-of-a-kind immersive comedy experience blending stand-up, music, and multimedia art into a night that is as thought-provoking as it is hilarious, taking place Friday, April 25. After a sold-out appearance at Commonwealth Comedy Club last year, the experience returns with even more momentum.
Set in the club’s intimate, historic venue, just minutes from downtown Cincinnati, THE DOSE begins with doors at 6:30 PM and a pre-show DJ set, followed by the comedy showcase at 7:30 PM. Designed as a fully curated “set and setting,” the event creates an environment where both performers and audiences can explore new perspectives through laughter.
Hosted and created by nationally touring comedian Steven Gillespie (seen on CONAN and Amazon Prime), THE DOSE features a lineup of top-tier comedians with credits spanning HBO, Netflix, Comedy Central, Late Night, and Don’t Tell.
More than a traditional stand-up show, THE DOSE is a multi-sensory experience. The evening includes a live DJ set, immersive visuals, and a pre-show atmosphere that has quickly become a destination in its own right—featuring live music, local vendors, and interactive performers such as dancers, jugglers, and flow artists.
