The Kentucky Barrels opened up their inaugural season in Arena Football One with a victory over the Michigan Arsenal, 34-26 at Truist Arena on Sunday.

Former Ohio State product Jalin Marshall led the way with 110 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Quarterback Dalton Oliver threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns as the Barrels held the Arsenal scoreless in the fourth to prevail.

Dezmon Epps added a kick return for a touchdown while Darius Prince recorded a receiving touchdown and Vincent Dileo II provided a rushing touchdown for the Barrels scoring on the day. The Barrels defense tallied four sacks, Ezekiel Rose with two.

They’ll look to make it 2-0 on Sunday, April 19 when they host the Oceanside Bombers at 3 p.m.
