Adventure Crew, the organizer of Ohio River Paddlefest, is teaming up with Great Parks to bring the Paddling Film Festival to Cincinnati.
The local World Tour screening will take place on Friday, April 24 at The Banquet Room at the Mill Course in Winton Woods, 1515 W. Sharon Road. Social hour will run from 6-7 p.m., with the films beginning at 7 p.m.
The Paddling Film Festival has been showcasing the best paddling films since 2006. Attendees are invited to watch and be inspired to explore rivers, lakes and oceans; push extremes; appreciate wild places; and embrace the paddling lifestyle.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Adventure Crew, whose mission is to connect city teens to nature and each other through engaging outdoor adventures. The nonprofit is hosting the 25th anniversary Ohio River Paddlefest on Saturday, August 1. Ohio River Paddlefest is recognized as the nation’s largest paddling celebration, and Adventure Crew has set a goal to make 2026 the biggest and best Paddlefest yet!
“We hope this great collection of short films gets the audience excited about the upcoming paddling season,” said Miriam Wise, director of support and engagement for Adventure Crew. “Our region offers so many opportunities to get out and enjoy time on the water, including at our beautiful Great Parks and during the annual Ohio River Paddlefest.”
Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the door (if the event does not sell out). Movie snacks are included with your ticket, and a cash bar will be available. Bar proceeds benefit Great Parks, which aspires to protect nature and inspire communities to explore, learn and care for the outdoors.
