Newport, KY – The Newport Syndicate is turning up the intrigue with the expansion of its popular Gangsters Speakeasy Murder Mystery Dinner Series, offering guests even more opportunities to experience one of Northern Kentucky’s most unique interactive dining events. Beginning at the end of March, performances will now take place every Friday and Saturday evening, doubling availability for locals and visitors alike.

As part of the Friday night expansion, the Newport Syndicate is thrilled to introduce Jonathan Carlisle, musician and storyteller, as a featured host. Carlisle brings a strong local connection and an engaging stage presence that enhances the immersive atmosphere of the evening. He will alternate hosting duties with Newport Syndicate owner Sharon Forton, blending humor and storytelling to create a lively and memorable guest experience.

“Jonathan’s narrative flair and artistic approach add a compelling new dimension to the program,” shared Forton. “It allows us to offer multiple interpretations of established mysteries and create new, unique ones, enriching the experience for both first-time and returning guests.”

The expanded series features a rotating lineup of themed shows, including Gangsters of Newport, which spotlights Newport’s rich gangster history, tapping into the city’s legendary past and offering visitors a deeper look into the stories that shaped the region. Other themes include The Roaring 20’s, 80’s Flashback, Dancing with Danger, and more. These dinner-show experiences provide guests with a wide variety of storylines to explore, ensuring there is always a whodunit to spark the imagination.
