National Dog Day is this week.
Celebrate the occasion at the Alexandria Community Park, 3965 Alexandria Drive, on Aug. 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Grab your pup, bring the family and enjoy an evening of games, contests, agility fun, a photo booth, local vendors, food, drinks, raffle prizes and more. Admission is free and there is no registration required.
Bring a donation for one of the local dog rescues and earn a raffle entry.
