Florence, KY – Accent Therapeutic Services, a locally owned and operated mental health
practice in Northern Kentucky, is expanding its services and physical location in 2025 to
better meet the growing needs of the community. Under the leadership of Jamie Wilkinson,
LPCC, founder and owner, Accent has grown from a solo practice into a multidisciplinary
agency providing individual therapy, psychiatric medication management, psychological
testing and assessments, and more.
Accent is known for its trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach, offering
compassionate care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, autism spectrum
diagnoses, ADHD, and co-occurring mental health challenges. With a strong focus on
accessibility, Accent accepts Medicaid, private insurance, and self-pay, making quality
mental health services available to a wider population.

are, with no judgment and full respect for the courage it takes to ask for help.”
Accent’s psychiatric medication management services provide clients with direct access to
experienced nurse practitioners who work collaboratively with therapists to ensure holistic
care. This integration reduces wait times and streamlines treatment for those needing both
medication and therapy support.
In addition, the practice has become a trusted referral source for psychological testing and
diagnostic assessments—especially for clients seeking clarity around ADHD, autism,
learning difficulties, and mood-related concerns. These evaluations are conducted in-house
and include comprehensive feedback and support planning.
In July 2025, Accent will move into a larger office space, doubling its capacity to
accommodate a growing client base and dedicated rooms for therapy, testing, and group
services. The team is also pursuing COA (Council on Accreditation) certification to ensure
continued quality and accountability.
Accent is preparing to launch Targeted Case Management (TCM) by December 2025,
offering personalized support for clients navigating complex life situations, community
resources, and service systems. A full addiction treatment program is planned for 2026;
however, Accent currently provides one-on-one support for clients dealing with co-
occurring substance use and mental health issues.
Accent’s team includes licensed therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and skilled
support staff who bring both clinical expertise and lived understanding to the work. As the
agency grows, its heart remains the same: providing a safe, supportive space for healing and
hope.
