ERLANGER, KY (April 26, 2024) –The Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky (BIA) is thrilled to announce the return of the Cavalcade of Homes, a premier event showcasing the craftsmanship and innovation in new homes and new home communities of Northern Kentucky’s top Registered Builders. This year’s Cavalcade of Homes features nine newly built homes. The event will take place on Saturdays and Sundays from noon – 5PM on May 4-5, May 11-12, and May 18-19. Attendees will get an exclusive opportunity to tour a variety of homes and experience lasting inspirations to make their own.
“The Cavalcade of Homes features an impressive lineup of Registered Builders, newly built homes, and new communities across Northern Kentucky. Inventory of new homes across the nation is tight and the ability to see nine homes spread across our region is a unique and rare opportunity given today’s home supply challenges,” said Brian Miller, Executive Vice President of the trade association. “Each home has been built professionally by a Registered Builder of our association. Registered Builder is not a name one can earn easily as these professionals must adhere to a strict set of mandatory minimums required by our association since 1990. Compulsory insurance requirements, structural warranty, customer ratings, bank and credit references, peer review and a commitment to adhere to our conciliation process should issues arise are some of the main components of the program. These are all things homebuyers should be aware of but often take a back seat in a day when new home inventory is an ever-present concern in today’s new home market. It truly means those investing in their new home can have peace of mind knowing they are dealing with a professional that adheres to these requirements as Registered Builders,” Miller concluded.
