Drag Bingo to raise funds for NISE
Northern Kentucky Inclusive Students in Education (NISE), a local non-profit educational initiative specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for College and Career Readiness, is thrilled to announce their 3rd annual Drag Bingo Night fundraiser on June 7, 2024, at 6 pm
The event, which is open to the public ages 18+, will be held at the Knox Joseph Distillery at the OTR StillHouse in Cincinnati Ohio. Tickets should be purchased beforehand, online at: https://bit.ly/2024NISEBingo
2024’s event has a new location and more entertainers! This year will feature some of Cincinnati’s most popular drag queens including Ravyn M. Valentino and Dalicious Milian. Returning from last year are P.H. Dee and our host, Phyllis Stein (aka Ron Padgett)!
Ticket profits and donations from the event will go to the Student Education and Advocacy Program. NISE is looking forward to the Summer Allyship for Middle School grades, ages.
Padgett, a local realtor said, “Never before has the art of Drag been more politicized or more important. Every sequin on my gown is an act of rebellion against bigotry and hate.”
Additionally, NISE lives by its core values of Civic Engagement, Solidarity, and Collaboration and currently serves students from Northern Kentucky and greater Cincinnati in grades 10-12 with their Student Advocacy Program.
