Gov. Andy Beshear has named two Northern Kentuckians to commissions and boards the past few months. 

Beshear appointed Laura Guffey as a member of the Kentucky Board of Social Work. 

Guffey, of Edgewood, is a licensed social worker at St. Elizabeth Physicians. She replaces Anne Adcock, who has resigned and shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending June 21, 2024.

Beshear reappointed Hunter Bryant as a member of the Kentucky Board of Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Hunter Bryant, of Fort Mitchell, is an interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing and is serving a term expiring Oct. 1, 2026.
