Join the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky guests, staff and volunteers as they party in the parking lot and get ready for winter shelter.
Visitors can drive through with their donations on Oct. 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and ESNKY guests will unload their vehicle. Daily-use items that guests need include coffee, sugar, creamer and cereal, adult-size winter clothes, personal items like soap, shampoo and toilet paper as well as twin-size sheets and towels.
The shelter is located at 436 W. 13th St., in Covington.
During their stop, visitors are invited to enjoy freshly popped popcorn and music to welcome in winter. They’re also welcomed to tour the shelter and learn more about the programs and services offered at ESNKY.
Families, companies, schools and churches interested in holding their own donation drive are asked to email volunteer coordinator Maya Mintu at Maya.Mintu@esnky.net.
