A tornado watch has been issued for all of Northern Kentucky after the warning expired just before 7 p.m.
The watch expires at 10 p.m., but the area is also under a severe thunderstorm warning.
What does a tornado watch mean? According to WCPO’s Brandon Spinner, it means weather conditions are right for those storms to develop.
Damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes are predicted with strong tornadoes possible. The NWS suggests being prepared to take shelters and having multiple ways of receiving information.
