The Kentucky Golf Coaches Association has released the All-Region and All-State teams for the 2026 season, which came to and end on Saturday with the girls’ KHSAA state championship.

The All-Region and All-State teams are based off points collected throughout the season in tournament play. The tournaments are weighted with the more prominent ones such as state, sectional and region tournaments along with the KGCA All-State tourney carrying more importance, therefore more points with good results.

As far as All-State, Ryle’s Hayden Li made the All-State second team. Li finished 15th in the standings with 760 points. He is the lone NKY boys or girls golfer to make the All-State teams. The top 10 in points make the first team, the next 10 on the second team.

St. Xavier’s Luc Kelty won Mr. Golf while Frederick Douglass’ Willa Borough won Miss Golf.

A few just missed out, Dixie Heights’ Jack Woolwine (35th), St. Henry’s Parker Isaacs (37th), Covington Catholic’s Joseph Mangine (47th) and Ryle’s Thomas Leone (49th) all finished in the top 50 in boys.

Ryle’s Elizabeth Dickson (21st), St. Henry’s Reese Anthony (23rd) and Notre Dame’s Maria Penaranda (27th) were top 30 finishers in girls.

Li also took home KGCA boys Region 7 Player of the Year honors while Newport Central Catholic’s Evan Himmelsbach won boys Region 8 Player of the Year.

Dickson won KGCA girls REgion 7 Player of the Year.
