A Boone County man who pleaded guilty in 2022 to possession of child pornography in exchange for five years in prison will end up serving a total of one day in jail.
On Feb. 2, Boone County Circuit Court Judge Richard A. Brueggemann ruled that Ryan Guilfoyle — who was accused of seven charges related to possession and distribution of child pornography in July 2021 — would be granted time served.

That time was one day: July 29, 2021, according to court records.
He will be on probation for eight years.
Guilfoyle is barred from viewing or possessing any phonographic material, and he is required to register as a sex offender for life.
