The Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky has won eight National Association Excellence Awards from the National Association of Home Builders.
The Association Excellence Awards are NAHB’s top national awards, honoring outstanding achievements in association management, member services, workforce development, government affairs, communications and innovation across more than 600 home builder associations nationwide. Only 19 awards are presented annually.
The 2025 awards mark the second time BIA NKY has won eight national awards in a single year—a distinction no other local association has achieved.
The awards won by BIA NKY were:
- Best Membership Event: 2025 Structured Networking
- Best Service to Members: Ariat Crew Affinity Program
- Best HBA Partnership/Coalition: Northern Kentucky Housing Blueprint
- Best Cost-Savings Program: BIA Becomes First Aid/CPR Certified School
- Best Government Affairs Effort (Regional): House Bill 54 – Dual Credit On-the-Job Training Equivalencies for Licensed Trades
- Best Workforce Development Plan Implemented: Inaugural Construction Trades Dual Credit Programming: High School to Post-Secondary Pathway
- Best Education Program: Complimentary Business Boost CEU Program: A Scalable Workforce and Member Education Model
- Best Web 2.0 Program: Enzweiler Building Institute JotForm AI Agent-Powered Chatbot
“This achievement reflects the incredible work of our members, volunteer leaders, staff, educational partners, elected officials and industry stakeholders,” Executive Vice President Brian Miller said in a news release. “To win eight national awards for a second time and reach 62 total awards since 2009 demonstrates that the programs being developed in Northern Kentucky are making a measurable impact and setting a national standard for excellence.”
The Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky is a trade organization representing homebuilders, developers, remodelers and companies connected to the residential construction industry throughout Northern Kentucky.
