Spectrum donated $2,500 to Fiesta NKY, a Boone County-based nonprofit that provides various services, including food distributions, to the local Latino community last week.
The award was presented to organization leaders just before the agency’s most recent food distribution event.
“This donation will help expand access to culturally relevant food and strengthen FIESTA NKY’s ongoing efforts to serve families across the region,” according to an email from Spectrum.
Florence Mayor Julie Metzger Aubuchon joined Spectrum to issue the award. Spectrum then volunteered to prepare food boxes for local families in need.
