Have old electronics, batteries or other household hazardous waste you need to get rid of?
The Northern Kentucky Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event is Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Thomas More Stadium, 7950 Freedom Way in Florence.
The event is free for Campbell, Boone and Kenton County residents and provides an opportunity to safely dispose of many items that should not go in your regular trash, including electronics, TVs, household cleaners, pesticides, batteries, automotive fluids, fire extinguishers and propane tanks.
You can bring:
- Electronics (limit two televisions)
- Paint (oil-based, limit 10)
- Aerosol cans
- Household cleaners
- Batteries
- Car fluids and more
Do not bring:
- Latex paint
- Tires
- Appliances
- Fertilizer
- Medications
- Explosives
- Radioactives and more
