Two key deadlines are approaching for Kentucky’s Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs.

The Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs will host a virtual media session on Dec. 1 to discuss upcoming deadlines for its Collegiate Pitch competition for college students and the Summer Startup program for high school students.

Anne Jewell, GSE’s president and CEO, will be available for a 90-minute drop-in Zoom session from 1:30 to 3 p.m. to discuss the upcoming Dec. 5 deadline for college students to file an “Intent to Compete” for Collegiate Pitch, a competition offering $3,000 to $15,000 to student-led ventures. The event is scheduled for Feb. 28 at SparkHaus in Covington.

Students from Kentucky colleges and universities can access competition details and submit intent forms at kentuckygse.com.

Jewell will also address questions regarding GSE’s Summer Startup program, a three-week entrepreneurial camp designed for Kentucky high school students. The 2026 session is scheduled from June 20 to July 12 at the University of Kentucky and is open to students in grades 9–11. The application deadline is Jan. 16 at 11 p.m.

More information about both programs is available at kentuckygse.com.
